What to Expect

Simple and relaxed

The Dr. Johnna Show is a video podcast recorded online through Riverside.fm, so you can join from anywhere. I'll email you a link to join, and you'll also receive video assets from the recording to use however you like. No software to install, no studio required. Here is all you need on your end:

• A webcam at minimum, higher-end camera at best. Just have your laptop? That's fine.
• A microphone if you have one. If you don't, no worries. I can edit to enhance the audio.
• A quiet space where you will not be interrupted.
• Decent lighting. A window facing you or a lamp in front of you does the job.
• Headphones or earbuds if you have them, which keeps the audio clean.
• A stable internet connection. Wired is great, strong wifi works too.
• Remember to stay in the center of the frame. It makes the short clips appear best.
• I aim for episodes to be long form videos, anywhere around 45 minutes. More or less is ok too. I prefer raw and real, so AI removes only pauses and filler words. If anything really needs to be edited out, that's possible.
• Most of all, let's have fun!
