What to Expect

Three steps to start recording

The Dr. Johnna Show is a video podcast recorded online through Riverside.fm, so you can join from anywhere. I'll email you a link to join, and you'll get the video afterward to use however you like. No software to install, no studio required. Here is all you need on your end:

• A webcam at minimum. Your laptop camera is completely fine.
• A microphone if you have one. If you don't have a mic, no worries. I have fancy editing on my end to help the audio sound better.
• A quiet space where you will not be interrupted.
• Decent lighting. A window facing you or a lamp in front of you does the job.
• Headphones or earbuds if you have them, which keeps the audio clean.
• A stable internet connection. Wired is great, strong wifi works too.
• Remember to stay in the center of the frame. It makes the short clips appear best.
